Edit the title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, or creation and modification dates. Leave a supported field empty to remove it. Choose to update XMP with these values or remove it, then select “Save metadata.” Review the resulting values shown with the download.
To remove all metadata from multiple PDFs, select “Remove all metadata” and add up to 20 files. The files are processed together and offered as a ZIP. To edit field values, work with one PDF at a time.
The editable properties are title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, and creation and modification dates. The tool also changes the XMP packet. When updated, supported values are rewritten and PDF/A identification is kept, while other XMP properties are not retained.
Field limits are 500 characters for title and author, 1,000 for subject and keywords, and 200 for creator and producer. Separate keywords with commas. Dates use your time zone. Leave a date empty to remove it, or leave an unchanged creation date as it is.
This changes document properties and XMP, not embedded-image EXIF or GPS data, hidden text, layers, or metadata on individual pages or objects. It is not full document anonymization. Password-protected or restricted PDFs cannot be opened, and damaged files are not repaired.
Processing happens in your browser, and the PDF is not uploaded. No account is required, and no watermark is added. There is no stated file-size, page-count, or daily quota, but processing depends on device memory. Files over 200 MB may be slow.

What information can I see before changing a PDF?
Along with the document properties, the file details show the PDF version, page count, whether attachments or JavaScript are present, and whether XMP metadata exists. If it does, its title is shown when available.
Does removing all metadata also remove XMP?
Yes. The remove-all option removes both the document properties, such as title and author, and the XMP packet.
Can I add a custom metadata field or edit the XMP packet directly?
No. You can edit the supported document properties and choose whether to update or remove XMP, but you cannot add custom fields or edit the XMP packet directly.
