Edit PDF

Open a PDF in the editor. The page viewer shows your document and its thumbnails, so you can move between pages and choose where to make changes.

Choose a tool such as "Text", "Image", "Rectangle", "Ellipse", "Line", "Arrow", "Whiteout", "Draw", or "Highlight", then add it to the page. For text, click where you want it and enter your wording. You can move or resize added objects, and use Undo or Redo if you want to revise your changes.

When your edits are ready, choose "Save PDF" to download the result. It is saved as a single PDF, with an -edited suffix in the filename by default. You can change the filename before saving.

Use text boxes for new labels, notes, or other wording placed on top of the page, not to correct existing text. Added text, images, shapes, and drawings become new page content. To highlight, use the freehand marker. It is not a text-following highlighter. Characters not supported by the font, such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or emoji, are skipped and trigger a warning.

"Whiteout" places a white box over an area, but does not delete the covered content. Text beneath it remains in the file and can still be selected or copied, so whiteout is not a secure way to remove information.

You can work on one PDF at a time. There is no file-size limit set by the site, but your device’s available memory can limit what you can open. A memory warning appears for files over 200 MB. The editor is free, adds no watermark, and does not require registration.

The file is processed in your browser. It is not uploaded or stored, and stays on your device. Saving keeps the original page sizes, rotation, document properties, text, and form fields. Password-protected, restricted, and damaged PDFs cannot be opened in this tool.
