PNG to PDF
Convert PNG images into a PDF, with one image per page by default. Set the image order and page layout, or create a separate PDF for each image.
Processed in your browser. Your file is not uploaded.
Choose PNG files, drag them onto the page, or paste an image from your clipboard. Select “Add more images” to add files. Only PNG files are supported.
Images appear in the order they were added. Change the order by dragging file cards, using ↑ / ↓, or choosing “Name A→Z” or “Name Z→A” under “Order”. Turn an image 90° at a time with “⟲” or “⟳”. “Merge into one PDF” is on by default. Turn it off to make a separate PDF for each image and download the PDFs together as a ZIP.
Choose “A4”, “Letter”, “Legal”, “A3”, “A5”, or “Same as image” for “Page size”. The last option sizes each page to its image at 96 pixels per inch, plus the margin. For other page sizes, set “Orientation” to “Auto”, “Portrait”, or “Landscape”, then choose “None”, “Small (10 mm)”, or “Big (20 mm)” for “Margin”. “Fit whole image” shows the whole image. “Fill page (crop)” fills the page by cropping the image. Images are centered. Turn on “Do not enlarge small images” to prevent scaling above 96 pixels per inch.
“Transparent” keeps image transparency. “White” or “Color” fills transparent image areas, which can help when printing or using older PDF viewers. The background color does not fill page margins or other empty areas. PNG images are embedded without quality loss, so PDFs may be larger than the source images. If a result is over 5 MB, it suggests “Compress PDF” to make it smaller. Animated PNGs use only the first frame.
Conversion is free, requires no registration, adds no watermark, and runs in your browser without uploading files. You can add up to 200 PNG files at a time. Extra files are not added, and an error is shown. There is no file-size limit, but selections over 200 MB may exceed browser memory. If you add a JPG, the tool shows a note and the “Open JPG to PDF” link to its conversion page.
FAQ
Can I combine multiple PNG images into one PDF?
Yes. With “Merge into one PDF” on, the tool creates one PDF with one page for each image. The pages follow the image order shown in the file cards.
Are my PNG files uploaded during conversion?
No. The PDF is built in your browser, and the images are not uploaded.
What happens if two images have the same file name?
When you create separate PDFs, files with duplicate names receive numbered endings such as “-2” and “-3”. The ZIP uses the first image’s name followed by “-pdf.zip”.
Does the PDF keep text or Exif details from the PNG?
Text and Exif metadata stored in PNG chunks do not carry over. The PDF has standard document metadata, including its producer, creator, and creation and modification dates.
Can I set a custom page size or DPI?
Custom dimensions and a DPI setting are not available. You can choose from the listed page sizes or use “Same as image”, which uses 96 pixels per inch.
