Your file is uploaded over a secure connection and processed on our server. The original is deleted right after processing, the result after 1 hour (24 hours in your account).
Choose the Word documents you want to convert. Select several files for one batch, with the same settings applied to each. Files are checked by content, so changing a file’s extension will not make an unsupported file type convertible.
“Bookmarks from headings” is enabled by default, creating PDF bookmarks from document headings. Turn it off if you do not want bookmarks. Select “Convert to PDF” to start the conversion.
When processing finishes, the result displays its page count and a preview of the first page. Review them, then download the result. Each document produces its own PDF. For a batch, you can download the PDFs together as a ZIP archive.
Supported formats are DOCX, DOCM, DOTX, DOC, DOT, ODT, and RTF. TXT, Apple Pages, and WPS files are not supported. Password-protected documents cannot be converted. Remove the password in a suitable office application, save the file, and upload it again.
Guests can convert up to 10 files at once, each up to 20 MB, with a maximum of 200 pages per PDF. Registered users can convert up to 50 files, each up to 50 MB, and PDFs up to 500 pages. If processing takes too long, make the file smaller or split it into parts.
PDFs retain the source page size and margins, pictures, and tables. Fonts are embedded, though some Microsoft fonts are replaced by metric-compatible alternatives. Slight line-break differences may result, so exact visual matching is not guaranteed.
The document is uploaded over a secure connection and deleted right after conversion, whether it succeeds or fails. Fields are not updated, macros are not run, and linked files or pictures from the internet are not loaded. Cloud import and saving are unavailable.

Can I convert a password-protected Word document?
