PowerPoint to PDF

Convert a PowerPoint presentation to PDF online for sharing or viewing as a document. Each slide becomes one PDF page at the slide’s size, such as 4:3 or 16:9.

Your file is uploaded over a secure connection and processed on our server. The original is deleted right after processing, the result after 1 hour (24 hours in your account).

Select one or more presentation files to upload. The converter checks each file’s contents, not just its extension, and supports PPT, PPTX, PPTM, PPS, PPSX, POTX and ODP files.

Choose whether to include hidden slides or add speaker-notes pages. Both options are off by default. When notes pages are added, each slide is followed by a page showing that slide and its notes.

Select “Convert to PDF” to start. Download the resulting PDF for each presentation. When you convert several files, you can also download them together as a ZIP archive.

For guests, each presentation can be up to 20 MB, you can convert up to 10 files at once, and each resulting PDF can have up to 200 pages. Up to 2 jobs can run simultaneously, and one file may take up to 3 minutes. Registered users have higher limits: 50 MB per file, 50 files, 500 pages and 4 simultaneous jobs.

The PDF has one page per slide, not a handout layout with several slides on a page. Animations, transitions, video and sound are not carried over. Password-protected presentations cannot be converted, so remove the password in PowerPoint and upload the saved file again. Apple Keynote files are not supported.

Fonts are embedded, but some Microsoft fonts are replaced with metric-compatible alternatives, so text may shift slightly. The converter uses LibreOffice, so the PDF may not look exactly as it does in PowerPoint. Macros are not run, and linked online files or pictures are not loaded.

No registration is needed, and the result has no watermark or branding. Files are uploaded over HTTPS and processed on the server. The original presentation is deleted after conversion. Guest PDFs are kept for one hour, then deleted automatically.

FAQ

What happens to animations and transitions in the PDF?

Animations and transitions are not represented in the converted PDF. The PDF contains slide pages rather than the animated sequence or presentation effects.

What appears on speaker-notes pages?

Each notes page shows its corresponding slide together with the speaker notes, so the slide content and notes can be viewed together on that page.

Can I convert a password-protected presentation?

No. Remove the password in PowerPoint, save the presentation, then upload the saved file to convert it.
