Convert a PDF to PowerPoint as a PPTX file, with one slide for each page you choose. Use page images to keep the page appearance, or try editable text boxes for text-based PDFs.
Your file is uploaded over a secure connection and processed on our server. The original is deleted right after processing, the result after 1 hour (24 hours in your account).
Upload one PDF to get started. If it is password-protected, enter its password when prompted so the file can be converted. The password is used for this conversion only and is not stored.
Under “Slide content,” choose “Page images” or “Editable text (beta).” To convert only some pages, set “Pages” to “Select pages” and enter the page numbers or ranges. Leave “All pages” selected to include the whole document.
Choose a slide size and image quality if needed, then select “Convert to PowerPoint.” The finished PPTX includes one slide for each selected PDF page.
“Page images” is the default and places each PDF page as a picture on its slide, so the text cannot be edited. “Editable text (beta)” creates editable text boxes over a picture of the page without its text. Fonts are replaced, and line breaks or positions may shift. Tables and shapes remain part of the page picture, and pages without a text layer have no editable text boxes.
You can use “As the first page,” “16:9,” or “4:3” for slide size, and “Standard (150 DPI)” or “High (220 DPI)” for image quality. Pages with different dimensions are fitted to the slide without distortion, and the page warns you before conversion.
The free converter adds no watermark. Guests can convert files up to 50 MB and 200 pages, with up to 2 simultaneous jobs. Registered users can convert files up to 100 MB and 500 pages, with up to 4 simultaneous jobs. Only one PDF can be converted at a time. No registration is required for guest use.

What is the difference between Page images and Editable text (beta)?
Page images makes each slide a picture of the PDF page, so you cannot edit its text. Editable text (beta) creates text boxes over a background picture of the page. Text boxes can be changed, but tables and shapes remain part of the picture.
How large can my PDF be, and how many pages can I convert?
Guest conversions support PDFs up to 50 MB and 200 pages. Registered users can convert PDFs up to 100 MB and 500 pages. The simultaneous-job limits are 2 for guests and 4 for registered users, but only one PDF can be converted at a time.
Is the PDF to PPT converter free, and does it add a watermark?
The converter is free, and it does not add a watermark or branding to the PPTX. You can use it without registering.
Can I save the presentation in the older PPT format?
No. The converter creates a PPTX file, not the older .ppt format.
Can I import a PDF from cloud storage or save the result there?
Cloud storage import and direct cloud saving are not supported. Download the converted PPTX from the result instead.
