Extract PDF Pages
Extract selected pages from a PDF to keep only what you need. Save your selection as one PDF or as separate PDF files.
Processed in your browser. Your file is not uploaded.
Select one PDF by choosing a file, dragging it onto the page, or pasting it from the clipboard. Thumbnails load gradually, so you can select pages as they appear.
Click thumbnails to select pages, Shift-click selects a range. Or enter page numbers and ranges in the page field, such as 1, 3, 5-7. To select from a page to the end, add a hyphen, as in 8-.
Use All, None, Invert, Odd, or Even for quick selection. The page field and thumbnails stay in sync.
Choose One PDF to save all selected pages in one file, or A PDF for each page (ZIP) to create a PDF for each selected page. Download separate PDFs individually, or download them together as a ZIP when there are two or more.
Keep bookmarks is on by default. Bookmarks pointing to selected pages are carried over when enabled. Click Extract pages to start, then Download to save the result.
Use page extraction when you need only part of a document, such as a few pages to share or keep separately. Selected pages remain in their original document order, use a page-rearranging tool if you need to change the order.
Processing happens in your browser, and the PDF is not uploaded. The tool is free, requires no registration, and adds no watermark or branding.
There is no set file-size limit, page-count limit, or daily quota, but device memory can limit processing. Files over 200 MB may be slow or run out of memory, especially on phones and older computers.
Only PDF files are accepted, and the tool processes one PDF at a time. It does not extract images or text from pages or compress the resulting PDF.
FAQ
Can I choose a name for the extracted PDF?
Yes. For a One PDF result, the optional File name field lets you enter a name. The .pdf extension is added automatically, and characters that are not allowed in file names are replaced with underscores. If you leave the field blank, the tool uses the source name followed by -extracted.pdf.
What happens if I select every page?
If you select all pages and choose One PDF, a warning explains that the result will be a copy of the original file.
Why won't my password-protected PDF open?
This tool does not open password-protected PDFs or PDFs with permission restrictions. If you know the password, use Unlock PDF first, then try extracting the pages from the resulting file.
Which document details are kept in the new PDF?
The new file carries over document information such as the title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer, and dates. Custom page labels are also kept, but XMP metadata is not copied.
