Choose one PDF by selecting it, dragging it onto the page, or pasting it from your clipboard. The thumbnails load as you scroll through the document.
Under Pages to rotate, choose All, Odd, Even, or Selected. Click thumbnails to select pages, or Shift-click to select a range. Selecting a thumbnail switches the choice to Selected automatically. Clear the selection to return to All.
Apply ↺ Left 90°, ↻ Right 90°, or 180° to the chosen pages. To rotate just one page, use that page's Rotate left or Rotate right tile button. Use Reset to remove all rotations made in this tool. When at least one page is rotated, select Rotate PDF. Review the result and select Download to save the new PDF. You can select Change settings to adjust the rotation and process the same file again.
Use this tool to correct page orientation before sharing or reading a document. It changes page rotation only. Text, annotations, bookmarks, forms, and metadata are left untouched, and page content is not re-rendered, so its quality does not change.
The tool accepts one PDF at a time and produces one PDF. There is no set file-size or page-count limit, but your device's memory is the practical limit. For files larger than 200 MB, processing may be slow or run out of memory on phones and older computers.
Rotation is limited to 90° steps. The tool does not automatically detect scan orientation or straighten skewed pages. Password-protected PDFs and PDFs with permission restrictions cannot be opened directly. If you know the password, use Unlock PDF first, then return to rotate the unlocked file.
FAQ
Can I rotate a single page without changing the others?
Yes. Select only that page's thumbnail, then apply the rotation. You can also use the Rotate left or Rotate right button on that page's tile to rotate it by 90°.
Is my PDF uploaded when I rotate it?
No. The PDF is opened and saved in your browser, and it is not uploaded. The page also displays the message “Processed in your browser. Your file is not uploaded.”
Can I change the name of the saved PDF?
Yes. The optional File name field lets you enter a name. If you leave it empty, the result uses the original name followed by “-rotated.pdf”. The .pdf extension is added automatically.
Why won't my file open in the tool?
The file must be a valid PDF. A damaged or invalid PDF cannot be processed. PDFs with an open password or permission restrictions are not opened directly. If you know the password, use Unlock PDF separately before rotating the file.
